IEEE Executive Board Elections

The IEEE Executive Board elections for the 2017-2018 school year have arrived! Make sure to submit your votes! Voting ends on April 11th at 11:59pm. Vote here: http://tinyurl.com/ieee-elections-2017

Robosports Competition

Have you been looking for an opportunity to build a robot? Are you looking to have fun with friends while working to complete challenges? Interested in winning some prizes while enjoying free food? Just looking to try something new? If any of these apply, the Robosports Competition is for you!

The Robosports Competition is a 24-hour event that challenges teams of students with up to five members to use supplied components to create a mini-robot capable of competing in sports-inspired challenges. Students of all majors are encouraged to participate, as resources and helpers will be present to guide those less familiar with microcontrollers, electronics, and other devices.

The event will begin in LS 121 and LS 129 on Saturday, April 15th, at 12pm. There will be prizes for the winners, and food will be provided. However, space is limited. If you are interested, sign up as a team or individually as soon as possible. Individual registrants will be matched with a team. Registration ends on April 14th at 11:59pm.

Talk Series

One day of the talk series may be over, but there are still two to go. Join Aqueel and Aditya of the IEEE Executive Board for the remaining two days:

  1. Getting Prepped for Cracking Hard Technical Interviews (4/6/17)
  2. Top Tips for Following Up and Responding to Offers (4/13/17)

Third General Body Meeting

Join IEEE for its final general body meeting of the semester. Even though we are in the last stretch of the semester, we still have election results and a few events to talk about. The following will be discussed:

  • IEEE Executive Board Election Results
  • IEEE Robosports Competition
  • IEEE Annual Spring BBQ

Spring BBQ

Last but not least, we have our annual BBQ coming up. For now, this is tentatively set for April 20, 2017.
